Orange County Federation of Republican Women
endorses Ruszkiewicz for re-election
Major women's group in Orange County is latest endorsement
(Newbugh, NY) – The governing officers of the Orange County Federation of Republican Women announced that they will be supporting District 3 Legislator Paul Ruszkiewicz (R,C,I-Pine Island) for re-election.
The OCFRW leadership released a letter of support for Legislator Ruszkiewicz saying, "The dedication you have demonstrated to the community and the taxpayers of Orange County has indeed warranted our full support." The letter was signed by Federation President Katie Bonelli.
Ruszkiewicz thanked the Federation for their endorsement. "It has been a privilege to have the endorsement of the Orange County Federation of Republican Women in the past, and I thank President Bonelli and the Federation for continuing that support. The women of Orange County have always been able to count on me to represent their best interests in the Legislature, and that will continue into my second term. I will not let the women of our County down.""
Ruszkiewicz is running for a second term in the County Legislature. He has the ballot lines of the Republican, Conservative and Independence Parties, and faces Democratic opposition in November.
